  At Exmouth Makers Market, we’re passionate about supporting local small creative businesses by providing a friendly and encouraging environment. We hope you enjoy being part of our events as much as we enjoy hosting them!

Our aim is to help you connect with customers, promote your business through our website and social media channels, and support you in selling your creations to the public.

Booking a Stall

  Once you’ve decided which date(s) you'd like to attend, please contact Vicky before making any payment. Vicky will check availability and ask you to provide a few photos of your creations. To ensure our markets remain fresh, unique, and non-competitive, we operate a strict policy of not allowing multiple stalls to sell the same or very similar products.

Important:
Your space is only confirmed once payment has been received. We cannot reserve spaces. If another vendor offering similar products pays before you, they will secure the spot.

· Current fees:£20 for a 6-foot space or £30 for two spaces (per business).

· Payments are non-refundable.

· If the event is cancelled, you may either transfer your payment to a future market or request a refund.

Certain months are booking up quickly, so please secure your preferred date(s) as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Once payment is received, Vicky will need your name, email, phone number, table requirements and a copy of your in-date public liability insurance certificate. A receipt of payment will then be sent to you.

Access to the Venue

  Evening Before Set-Up (6pm-8pm)


Ocean kindly allows us to set up the evening before our events, provided the venue is available and not booked for another function. 

On the rare occasion that the Ocean Suite (Top floor) is unavailable, Ocean will offer us an alternative function room where you can safely store your items overnight. This helps make the set-up process smoother and quicker on the morning of the event.


Event Day Access:

  • Access from: 9:00 AM
  • Doors open to the public: 10:00 AM
  • Market closes: 4:00PM


Please do not begin packing away before 3:30 PM, as early pack-downs can make late shoppers feel rushed or unwelcome.

Tables & Stall Displays

 Table Hire:
We may be able to provide you with a 4.5-foot table free of charge, subject to availability. Please let Vicky know at the time of payment if you require one, to avoid disappointment. Alternatively, you're welcome to bring your own larger table, benches, or display stands. Your allocated space is yours to set up as you wish. Chairs will be provided.


Stall Setup Essentials:
• You're encouraged to bring display ladders, shelves, or stands to help showcase your products attractively.
• Please bring your own tablecloth, ideally one that reaches the floor at the front to hide boxes, bags, or stock stored underneath.
• If you'd like to purchase a white rectangular tablecloth, contact Vicky – they are available for £6 each.


Electricity Access:
• If you need a plug socket, please inform Vicky in advance so we can position your table accordingly.
• We have two PAT-tested extension leads available, which will be shared among vendors as needed.


Outdoor Space:
We also have access to an outside patio area. If you'd like to set up there, please let Vicky know – we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
Please note: Any gazebos, stands, or tables used outdoors must be properly weighted down for safety.


Bridal Suite Access:

We also have access to a small private room with WC facilities, often referred to as the bridal suite.
If you’d like to use this space during the event, please let Vicky know — she will check availability and confirm whether it can be reserved for you.


Stage Area:

The stage area offers a unique and exciting space that can be used creatively during the event.
If you’re interested in using the stage for your display, demonstrations, or any other purpose, please discuss your ideas with Vicky in advance to see how we can best accommodate them.

We’re excited to continue offering Free Craft Demonstrations as part of our market experience. These demos help create a vibrant, engaging atmosphere that attracts more visitors and keeps them coming back!

If you’d like to take part, please let Vicky know in advance.


As a thank you, you’ll receive an additional table free of charge to use for your demonstration and as extra display space.
